Miller Revisited

This isn't exactly Brian Michael Bendis news, but of related interest to those who currently follow his run on Daredevil, is Dave Wallace's retrospective look at Frank Miller's work on The Man Without Fear.

One would be hard pressed to find any other scribe who set the standard and defined the terms on which Daredevil is written as well as one who brought an increased maturity and a sense of deconstruction to superheroics and comics in general.

This even-handed look covers Frank Miller's work as collected in Daredevil Visionaries: Frank Miller volumes one, two and three, Born Again and Daredevil: The Man Without Fear. This piece is most interesting in that it expounds on the numerous parallels between Bendis' and Miller's work on the crimson cowled avenger.
